Itinerary
Trou Aux Cerfs Dormant Volcano: The crater of Trou aux Cerfs is surrounded by a vast tract of lush forest filled with indigenous plant species and some enormous green pine trees, in contrast to the usual volcanic features. The Trou aux Cerfs is thought to have once erupted but has been dormant for 700 000 years; Experts are of the opinion that there is a possibility that it will reactivate.
Le Port – Ship model Factory : Since 1988, the ship model manufacturer “Le Port” has produced thousands of replicas of famous boats, including the “HMS Bounty,” “the HMS Victory,” “The Soleil Royal,” “The Black Pearl,” and “The Wasa.” A wide range of ship models in a variety of scales can be found in our showroom. The French Embassy, Arabian palaces, Chinese businesses, and Indian palaces are just a few of the places where our models are currently on display. In Mauritius, one of our largest “HMS Victory” models, measuring 390 centimeters in length, can still be seen.
Ganga Talao: Ganga Talao, or Grand Bassin in Mauritius, is a crater lake in the mountainous Southwest district of Savanne. It is about 550 meters above sea level. A temple and a collection of small shrines to Lord Shiva and other gods are located on the shore. Ganga Talao is a popular tourist destination in Mauritius. Many people come to pray, meditate, play with the local monkeys, or just walk by the lake and take in the stunning views.
Valley 23 Colors: After the Bassin Blanc volcano erupted millions of years ago, the 23 Colored Earth came into existence! Mineral deposits and volcanic activity are the causes of this phenomenon; completely unique to this one beautiful place on the planet. When there is a high level of gas pressure, a volcanic eruption occurs, bringing magma—molten rock deep within the Earth—to the surface, resulting in the distinctive colors seen at the 23-colored earth. The cooling lava quickly solidifies during the eruption, combining its chemical components with the structures of silica to form vitreous, small crystals. The original magma’s conditions (high pressure and high temperature gas saturation) alter the chemical composition of basalt, an ancient Molten rock undergoes gradual changes in its mineral and chemical composition when exposed to surface conditions. The subsequent process of weathering resulted in
